Toning for Peace was created to help the emergent practice of Vocal Toning spread across our great planet.  Singing has a long list of health benefits. Toning is a form of singing anyone can do. When we tone with a group, something emerges from our coordinated breathing. We con-spire (breath together) to evolve higher. We give what Hazrat Inayat Khan terms "vitalized breath" our full attention, exercising it with unbending intent to express ourselves creatively. That expression frees us, and we enter a world of unlimited potential.

Toning for Peace began as a collective effort of Asheville area sound healers and voice play instructors to promote the free-form vocal expression of vocal toning and connect people with their unique & inherent musical nature. We "speak our piece", then saturate our world with vibrations of healing, harmony and peace. We provide safe opportunities through vocal toning to release what no longer serves us, expanding one's presence, simultaneously individuating the human while unifying all of humanity.  Vocal toning is a means of inoculating ourselves against negative influences, whether internal or external, that pull us out of alignment with our truth.

Amanda Robin Ramsey, an initiate of the
Source Sound Soul Energetics lineage of intuitive sound healing, has
studied sound healing for nine years, and has been an active
practitioner for seven years.  Amanda approaches sound healing as a
ministry and works primarily with sacred sound to awaken the soul and
provide support through the soul's process of evolution, with special
affinity to times of transformation and transition. Through
experiential learning styles, she invites others to find their true
voice, to explore the laboratory of the Self and to express their
authentic sounds.

     Anyone is welcome to become a T4P Circle Host regardless of experience and training. The application and approval process is completely FREE! The only thing that is required is interest and a willingness to use your voice freely as well as a desire to encourage others to do the same. Let's get people together sharing their voices in freeform fun! Together, our voices will shake the world! We'll help you get started and be here for you making it easy to host a circle in your area.
